Primary Steam Reforming Catalyst (DZC-S169)

Brief Introduction

DZC-S169 catalyst is widely used to catalyze the reaction of methane and steam at high temperature and pressure to produce synthesis gas (H2 and CO), which is the most economical method to produce commercial bulk hydrogen used in the industrial synthesis of ammonia and other chemicals.

The reaction is summarized as below

CH4 + H2O ⇌ CO + 3H2 CO + H2O ⇌ CO2 + H2
